The Geo-Political Strategy Behind America's Afghan Invasion
by grtv

On the 10th anniversary of the US invasion of Afghanistan on October 7, US troops are still there and the withdrawal deadline of 2014 seems to be up in the air.

Retired USAF Lt Col Karen Kwiatkowski believes the US never had any intention of allowing the Afghan people to choose anything.

“If they were allowed to chose, I think we would be long gone,” she said. “It is about big cover. They cannot kick us out and we are going to stay. We build permanent bases and we want to terrorize Pakistan, Iran, and be there to look over the mountains into China.”

Karen Kwiatkowski says that the US mission in Afghanistan was “somewhat successful” from the Pentagon’s and Obama administration’s point of view.

“When the Pentagon says, ‘We are still there, we are making progress,’ in a sense they are telling the truth,” she said. “In many ways the American people have not been told what we came to Afghanistan to do. And that mission is to build bases – which we have done – and to man those bases into operating a military front against other countries in the region.”

“It is not a success for the American people, who are very tired of this,” she added. “But the real reasons that we are in Afghanistan have never been put forward.”

Kwiatkowski says the reason for the US staying in Afghanistan becomes obvious if one looks at how the US military is operating in the Middle East.

“There is a good reason in their minds why they are there, and they plan to stay,” she said. “We like these military bases too well, we like the minerals, and we like the geographic positioning Afghanistan provides our military.”

Hi Mrs Kwiatkowski,
I suspect you know that you're partially correct. With the spectre of a markets collapse imminent and a global economic crash to follow the logic is absent to argue that American control is for resources, such as for oil, mineral or metals. In other words there will be little commercial need for resources during a great Depression.
The region of Balkh in particular is important to control as is Tibet and Iraq, Tyre, and Syria. Pakistan and Iran will shortly be drawn in to the Asian conflict.
The goal is to secure a specific region within Asia in anticipation of a geo-physical event which will trigger global weather catastrophes (think HAARP and CERN here). For this reason the Allied forces will maintain and expand their control, not over the people pers se, but the lands.

the west likes to call its exploits in this region, "the Great Game" its quite apt as there are many players in the game and each has their own motive for being involved.
that these different parties/players sometime co-operate with each other is not a sign that they all are united but its just that "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" being acted out.

here are my list of reasons for the wests involvement in this part of the world:
1. religious hatred
2. racist hatred
3. imperialist looting of natural resources and mineral wealth.
4. build permanent military bases near China & Russia- two major threats to US superiority.
5. drug lords (within and outside of intelligence services).
6. arms sales and other war profiteering.
7. loanshark capitalism – Jewish bankers of Europe & America.
8. empire building .. land acquisition
9. mercenaries attracted to violence & fat paychecks.
10. generals attracted to advancement in the ranks and becoming famous.
11. revenge for defeats suffered against the Afghans over the years.

USAma Bin Laden says:

The American Empire's "geopolitical strategy" in Afghanistan and beyond has been effectively admitted by the American imperialists themselves: Global American conquest in all but name.

See Ziggy Brzezinki's The Grand Chessboard, or hell, even official US policies like the Bush and Obama national security doctrines.

Just as United States stole and colonized .... sorry, I mean "secured" Native Indian, Mexican, and Hawaiian lands as part of the White colonial subjugation of North America, now the USA is seeking to expand its Manifest Destiny over the entire planet--particularly Eurasia.

i agree with above but one thing we must never forget:
the mindset of the the powers that be in the US have come from England- after all, thats where the first white settlers/invaders came from. today zionist mainstream media is cleverly making it seem as if the US is the big bully & the UK is just obeying- the opposite is true because those that call the shots in the US govt & military take their orders from the City of London where the Rothschilds rule from.
now, the zionists are trying to move their capital from London & DC to Tel Aviv.
im a muslim & according to prophetic scriptures(hadith) they are only hastening their demise.
