In January 2010, a 7.0 earthquake devastated Haiti. The international community, including one out of two Americans, pledged billions of dollars in aid, yet the nation has seen little improvement. Three hundred thousand died, nearly two million live in ramshackle tent cities. Cholera has swept through the population, killing thousands and hospitalizing many others. Only about 2% of the rubble has been cleared.
Is this what you expected when you pledged your aid dollars? Independent journalists Film@11.tv journeyed to Haiti in November 2010 to see the situation for themselves, and dig into the burning question: what happened to all that money?
Public television stations across the U.S. will begin airing the documentary HAITI: Where Did The Money Go? this January to coincide with the two-year anniversary of the earthquake of 2010.

Thank you for posting about our film. It is important that people understand the situation in Haiti and begin asking questions and taking action.
Hello,
Thank you for posting this video. I just watched the full length on WGBYWorld. I was wondering what the latrine situation was like before the Earthquake? I'm just trying to get the full picture so I can better understand. Also, I have been greatly interested in going to Africa and Belize etc. to construct Solar cookers for but not limited to pasteurization of water. But I am also greatly interested in helping out in many other ways. I am currently a broke college student but I would desperately like to get connected with an organization so I can go out and help these people. If you have any ideas that would be very much appreciated. Thanks so much.
